Day 20

Day 20

Know It, Trust It, Own It.

Remember Day 10, where we discussed “talking the talk to walk the walk? Since you are the master of your body and mind, every obstacle you face is an opportunity to heal, grow and transform yourself into the best version of yourself you can be. Be proud of that, own it, and feel it empower you to stand a little taller in your space.

You are a divine being, after all, and as such, you are endlessly supported by universal energies of love and abundance. It is your job, however, to allow this understanding into your body as fact, so consider this: any setback or challenge you experience is often just the Universe performing a little recalibration magic trick on your behalf to help you get back on track. Trust in your own Divine path, and say “thank you” to the Universe for having your back, even if the path isn’t always clear to you in the moment.

I always tell my patients that your suffering is also your gift. Embrace the messages you’re being sent, and take responsibility for the actions (if any) you’re able and willing to take in the moment. In this way, you’re really just harnessing any suffering you might feel, and turning it into your power. Pretty powerful stuff, right?

My own journey, for example, brought a lot of suffering from IBS early on, but I often think that if it hadn’t, would I still have committed as fully as I did to my own healing (which then also became my vocation in this life)? What if I had continued to idle along, living at 70% for the rest of my life, instead of pushing onward to know what 100% feels like? This suffering took me to the depths of my own worthiness, made me question everything, challenged me to recreate myself into a more layered, capable, vibrant being than I was before. Working to move beyond it was a radical act of self-love, even though there were certainly times it felt like I was running nowhere fast. Looking back now, I can see I was always on my path; even amidst the darkest moments, I was still being guided in the right direction. Allow that trust to live within yourself, and it will be there for you always.
